Ireland Women beat Papua New Guinea Women by 27 runs in the first semi-final of the ICC Women’s World T20 Qualifier 2018 at the VRA Cricket Ground in Amstelveen. Victory means Ireland have now secured their spot in the WT20Q final as well as their ticket to the ICC World T20 2018 main event. Having posted 113/6 in the first innings, Ireland skittled PNG for 86 in a chase that never really got going, which cued wild celebrations.
