The minister is accused of possessing disproportionate assets worth Rs 1, 47, 00, 000, which are 217.20% more than his income.
"But, if there is someone who has worked the most for the farmers, it is Narendra Modi. Farmers are aware of this. Look at the statistics under the Congress government," Amit Shah said.
In an indirect but obvious reference to Nehru, Modi said the leader who wore a rose knew about gardens but not farmers or farming.
Shah had during a dialogue with youths here last week said people should hold Congress leaders by their collars if they approached them and ask what work these leaders had done for the public.
